April 28, 2007 - Bill's iris bed had a fantastic spring!	Steve and Bill discuss the fine points of iris growing...	A beautiful subtle pink.	So delicate...	Wow!
Very showy...	And a big fat promise of more show...	Did it take long to draw all those fine lines on the edges of the petals? :)	Sort of a lavender and rust color combination.	More traditional...
And almost downright old-fashioned?	At least Bill and Steve have moved into the shade now...	Bill and his beautiful yard.	I really liked this planting of day-lilies (Stella d'Oro ?) around the base of the tree. I hope to see it in full bloom some day.	A red rose bush that has been on the north side of the house for many years - very striking against the white.
