Day 5 on the Big Island of Hawaii

The pineapple garden in the backyard of the house where we stayed! Unfortunately, not pineapple season...	Some really peculiar giant yellow "cockleburrs" that we collected on Day 1 at South Point.	Jo proving that the outside cat, HeHe, does indeed love to be raked!	An amazing treehouse, on the road toward ... Hilo?	We're on "The Favorite Hike", on our last day on the Big Island - beautiful views, off the beaten path.
It had to happen...	OK, we'll settle for a closeup.	Steve, trusting a rotted rope and an aged spike...	A great, weathered, tenacious tree.	A stand of interesting trees that look sort of upside down, and as a matter of fact...
This is their fruit - I called it the "upside down pineapple" tree - obviously not actually pineapples, I don't know what they are.	The lava rock is in rows here.	Foamy surf...	Steve in front of the ocean of beautiful colors.	Waves coming in - we're still on "The Favorite Walk" :>
